Last Wednesday was a record day for Ascheman & Smith as we received 3 dismissals on the same day. Our Client was being targeted with multiple Harassment Restraining Orders (HRO). It can be incredibly easy to obtain an HRO, all you need to show is an incident of physical violence, or repeated harassment. Despite this, we challenged the petitioners claims of harassment. During the two day hearing we continuously confronted witness after witness, consistently showing that our client had never harassed those seeking to smear her good name.
